Effective August 6, 2026. This policy explains how Cevict, Inc., operator of Prognostication, handles personal information when you visit the site, use an account, contact support, or purchase access.
Information you provide
We may process your name, email address, password-derived authentication data, account preferences, support correspondence, privacy requests, subscription tier, and billing status. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information to support.
Information collected automatically
Hosting and security systems may process IP address, device and browser information, requested pages, timestamps, essential cookies, session identifiers, and diagnostic or abuse-prevention events. Security controls may replace raw identifiers with keyed hashes before storage.
Sources of information
Information comes from you, your browser or device, our hosting and security systems, and service providers involved in account, email, or—when enabled—payment workflows.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, enforce access tiers, deliver and secure the service, prevent abuse, send account messages, respond to support and privacy requests, maintain the published record, troubleshoot failures, comply with law, and keep necessary business and audit records.
Service providers and disclosure
Current or planned processors include Vercel for hosting, Supabase for application data, Resend for account email, and Stripe for payment processing. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not intended to be stored by Prognostication. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, during a business transaction, or at your direction.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Essential cookies maintain authentication and security state. The current service does not require advertising cookies or sell personal information for targeted advertising. If analytics, advertising, or materially different tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated first.
Retention
Retention depends on the record and purpose. Short-lived security tokens and rate-limit records are deleted or expire on a controlled schedule. Account, billing, support, audit, and legal records may be kept while an account is active and afterward when reasonably necessary for security, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup integrity. Backups may retain deleted information until their normal expiration.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the information we process, including access controls, hashed authentication data, secure transport, and restricted service credentials. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of applicable personal information, or object to certain processing. We may verify identity, deny a request where permitted, or retain information required for security or law. If a request is denied, you may reply and ask for review.
Children
Prognostication accounts are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
United States processing and policy changes
The service is operated in the United States, and information may be processed where our providers operate. We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and additional notice when required.

Privacy requests may be sent to support@prognostication.com with the subject “Privacy request.”
