Terms of Use

Effective August 6, 2026. Prognostication is a service operated by Cevict, Inc.. These terms govern the website, accounts, probability research, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Probability research—not execution

Prognostication displays picks and analysis syndicated by Progno. It may show probabilities, market prices, estimated edge, reasoning, timing, and settled results. Prognostication does not open, route, manage, or close trades; hold customer funds; act as an exchange, broker, adviser, or fiduciary; or provide individualized financial, legal, tax, or gambling advice.

Eligibility and lawful use

You must be at least 18, legally capable of accepting these terms, and permitted to use the service where you live. Prediction-market and sports-related rules vary by jurisdiction and platform. You are responsible for complying with applicable law, exchange rules, employer restrictions, and any other duties that apply to you.

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials private, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. One person may not use another person's account. We may suspend or revoke access to protect an account or the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms.

Subscriptions, renewals, and trials

Checkout discloses the price, billing interval, renewal terms, trial conversion terms (if any), and cancellation method before payment. A recurring plan continues for successive billing periods until canceled. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Research and market risk

Every probability and pick can be wrong. Markets may be volatile, illiquid, delayed, suspended, or resolved under rules that differ from a user's interpretation. Past results do not predict future performance. You can lose the entire amount committed to a position. Review the Prediction-Market Risk Disclosure before acting on any research.

Acceptable use

You may not bypass access controls, share or sell account access, scrape or redistribute restricted content, interfere with service operation, submit malicious code, misuse credentials, impersonate another person, probe systems without written authorization, or republish paid research as a competing feed.

Intellectual property

The service, presentation, and original research are owned by Cevict, Inc. or its licensors. These terms grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal purposes. They do not transfer ownership or permit commercial republication.

Third-party services

Exchanges, marketplaces, payment processors, hosting providers, data sources, and linked sites operate under their own terms. A reference or link does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or control. You must review the governing market's current contract and settlement rules before participating.

Availability, corrections, and changes

The service may be unavailable or contain delayed, incomplete, or incorrect information. We may correct records, change features, retire content, or discontinue the service. Material changes to these terms will be identified by a revised effective date and, when required, additional notice.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of accuracy, availability, profitability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cevict, Inc. is not liable for trading or wagering losses, missed opportunities, lost profits, indirect or consequential damages, third-party conduct, or decisions made from published research. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Disputes

Before filing a non-urgent dispute, contact support with a concise description and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising rights that cannot be waived. Any unresolved matter must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction over the parties and dispute unless a later written agreement, accepted by both parties, provides another process.
